What Awaits the Tourists in Canada
Canada is the second largest country in the world in terms of land area. No wonder, this country has so much to offer to its guests in terms of destinations and tourists’ activities. The land is divided into 5 regions namely the Eastern, Western, Central, Northern, and Southern Canada. Each part has vast offerings that suit the different pleasures yearned by tourists.
At what month of the year is the best time to go to Canada? It’s ideal to visit this country any time. Early in the year, the northern and central regions of Canada are the must visit destinations to witness the Northern Lights (aurora borealis) in Churchill. The dog sled race at Yukon is also a nice activity to witness every February. The eastern part of Canada is famous for its Gros Morne National Park.
Western and South Canada are the best bets to visit during the middle months of the year. Popular destinations include Point Pelee National Park, Banff National Park, Minnewanka Landing and the Sam Kee Building which is the narrowest building in the world.
Hand knitted socks made by the locals in the North and Central parts are a popular keepsake that tourists bring home with them. Canadians are huge hockey fans so hockey trophies by their famous hockey teams make a great souvenir as well.
