In the Manor House, plump sofas and armchairs invite one to lean back and relax in a luxurious yet homely atmosphere.From Duke's Bar at Pontac, furnished in Afro-chic style, a magnificent mahogany bar counter and huge indoor fireplace beckons.
On the expansive Victorian Veranda, guests can sip sun-downers whilst savouring the magnificent view to the mountains beyond or enjoying the tranquility of the gardens where the squirrels hop amongst the oaks.
The Manor House can be hired for parties such as weddings, corporate functions or other special events. This includes exclusive use of the hotel's public areas (lounge, bar and dining room) as a function venue.
The Swimming Pools & Gardens: On warm summer days, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool or bask by the poolside on a reclining lounger. Snacks, light meals and beverages are served throughout the day and garden or pool service is readily available upon request. Two lovely pools to choose from.
The Gardens: A special feature of Pontac Manor Hotel & Restaurant is the beautifully laid out gardens. The front of the manor is flanked by majestic oak trees, the veranda looks down onto a manicured rose garden in Victorian style and a classic water feature. Quiet seating areas are dotted in various locations in the gardens: here guests can relax with a book or newspaper, enjoy a peaceful moment of contemplation or a cosy chat, or order beverages to be served in the gardens.
Beauty Clinic: New at Pontac Manor since 2006 is the Medi-Skin Health and Beauty facility, which offers a range of revitalizing and relaxing massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing and other cosmetic treatments as well as beauty products on sale. The facility is open during normal day-time hours and treatments can also be booked for after-hours. For more details, contact the reception desk or the beauty consultant on duty directly.
Business Centre: Guests may make use of the dedicated guest services PC to access the internet. Printing, copying and fax services are also available at the reception desk.
