Recently renovated to modernise the mansion and make it more suitable for the modern traveller, Summerwood has the luxury of a hotel with the warmth and hospitality of a guest house.
The nine bedrooms are tastefully furnished with luxurious linens and soft, relaxing colours all with ensuite bathrooms and guest amenities. The wide variety of indigenous plants in their immaculately groomed gardens provides for a very relaxing and soothing accommodation experience.
The friendly staff at Summerwood are more than happy to inform you of the activities and tours in and around the area and the nearby winelands, as well as assist you with any other needs you may have.
Of course a visit to the winelands for some wine tasting is a must, but there are many small stores and boutiques owned by the locals who offer exquisite locally made materials, crafts, curios and foods.
Just ask one of the staff members at Summerwood and they will be able to inform you on anything that is happening in and around Stellenbosch.
