This project has a social responsibility to empower young people from disadvantaged communities in the Cape area in surfing and life skills. This project is based in Muizenberg which is famous for surfing and the constant waves that create the perfect environment for the exciting sport. Many young people from poor communities who have benefited from this project live a life that is more meaningful and promising for them now. Volunteers enjoy working with these young people and sharing their skills and knowledge with them.Many volunteers learn to surf well themselves as training is given to them as well.
Cost includes:
-Self-catering accommodation
-Transport to and from the Cape Town International Airport on commencement day and final day of the tour
-Welcome dinner and orientation
3 day tour of Western Cape after volunteering period
Cost Excludes:
- Food and laundry
