A friend of mine recently had a vacation at Maldives, an island in the Indian Ocean, with her fiance. The images they took of the island and the serene beach are really breathtaking! I couldn’t agree more when she said that it’s indeed the ultimate paradise. There weren’t much tourists, in fact, it appeared that they were alone by themselves so that’s how private, calm and serene the island is. How I wish I can share to you the pictures they take but I wasn’t able to ask for permission so these pictures from the web will do to supplement this post.
My friend has a picture exactly in this spot:
They indeed had a wonderful time together in this magical island. She just also shared that they’re up for another adventure. This time they’ll be heading to another beautiful paradise, South Africa. In fact, booking of their flight via South African Airlines are already in place. She mentioned about getting the best airfare offer from FlightSite.co.za and how convenient it is to book on the site.

Thanksgiving Festival
Author: Jetsetter
Thanksgiving Day is a festival primarily observed and celebrated in the United States and Canada. By tradition, it is a harvest festival for the US Native Americans during which they serve food and do feasting as a sign of their gratitude for a bountiful harvest.
In this modern age, Americans and Canadians identify this as a secular holiday and it’s also known as the Turkey Day. It’s referred as such because a Thanksgiving dinner table would usually include a stuffed Turkey as the main meal.
Thanksgiving Day is celebrated in the US every fourth Thursday of November while Canadians celebrate it every second Monday of October.
Thanksgiving Day also marks the beginning of the Christmas season.
Two other post events associated with Thanksgiving are the Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Black Friday is the day following Thanksgiving Day. It is on this day when most US retailers and shops open very early (some as early as 12 am now) and welcome a mad crowd of shoppers wanting to take advantage of their promotional sales and blockbuster deals to kick of the shopping season.
Cyber Monday on the other hand is the Monday immediately following Black Friday. It’s actually similar to Black Friday only, the online retailers are involved in coming up with sale promotions.

When someone says that he’s heading to BKK, it means that he’ll be traveling to Thailand. It isn’t an acronym that stands for something but rather, it is the airport code given by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to Suvarnabhumi Airport which is Bangkok’s official international airport. BKK is one of the favorite key destinations in Asia because of its well-known lovely destinations such as Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai and Ko Samui.

When traveling to another country, what better souvenir you can keep to remind you of the place’s wonderful culture other than its currency? A paper bill or minted coins perhaps. 5 Unusual British Festivals
Author: Jetsetter
Even the veteran traveler would be hard-pressed to partake in all of Britain’s major cultural offerings. However, why try, when the country offers so many offbeat and alternative festivals? Though many are music-based, there are festivals with everything from reiki healing to recycled fashion. If you’re willing to venture off the beaten track during your British vacation, many of these festivals will provide experiences that few British tourists ever have. So go online, start pricing some flights to London and book any of the luxurious London hotels that are highly rated by many satisfied tourists.
1. London Alternative Fringe Festival
The festival began in 2009 and spans the month of August. Performances range from cabaret to burlesque to vaudeville and are not for the faint of heart, but are more interesting than many traditional theater offerings.
2. Sunrise Celebration
This festival takes place in Somerset, and is one of the country’s most earth-friendly, with over 50% of profits channeled to local charities, and a focus on sustainability. There are several music and dance acts, and even an eco-friendly fashion show.
3. Beatherder
Beatherder is a rave-like festival that happens in Lancashire every year. It focuses on electronic music and has a wide variety of performers and several stages. In addition, it’s kid-friendly (but unfortunately, not dog-friendly).
4. Buddhafield
Buddhafield, as you might expect from the name, is a festival that focuses on the benefits of healthy living. There are musical acts, but also group yoga classes, meditation sessions, and a variety of alternative healers. You’ll come out feeling healthier and more peaceful than when you went in.
5. Green Man
To call Green Man a hippie festival would probably be apt, but if you don’t have a beard, dreadlocks, or homemade clothes, you’ll still be welcome to partake in the folk music performances and beautiful views of nearby Sugar Loaf Mountain.
