Cape Winelands weather forecast
Contrary to popular belief, Africa isn't ALWAYS sunny! In the Cape, there are three main seasons: Summer, Winter and Windy.
Windy season usually kicks off sometime around January lasts until late March. Summer stretches from November to April. After that an often wet winter takes over.
Summers are beautiful and nice and hot but expect that every other day you could be blasted with varying levels of wind. For wind sport enthusiasts, the Cape is the perfect place to be. Cape winters can be stormy - hence the nickname "Cape of Storms". So don't bank on lying on the beach in June - it's likely to be grey and rainy.
